Joe Donnelly is the founder of TAMHI, which stands for Tackling Awareness of Mental Health Issues, the charity is named after Donnelly's friend Thomas "Tammy Tucker" McLaughlin who took his life in 2009. TAMHI set up in 2011 to support sports clubs to raise awareness of mental health and to use the power of sport to tackle the social issues that impact on mental wellbeing.
